The quarantine has been going on forever in LA, but life is meant for living. So, since I can't indulge in my gym rat nature, and I'm starting to get puffy again, I've been hiking to hills around LA.
The picture above is in the Santa Monica Mountains, which have miles and miles of trails for you to enjoy. Now will you be absolutely alone in the wilderness, NO. In fact, depending on the time of day you go, you might be surrounded by a bunch of families on the trail with you. But don't let that stop you from getting outside for a bit.
Supposedly, Vitamin D deficiency is a crippling factor when infected with Covid-19. And being a melaninated person such as myself, I would prefer to be covering more of health bases than usual.
However, I hope we've all been taking the time to look over our health care routine. Not just the masks and disinfecting, but really taking account of our exercise routine, what we are eating, keeping inflammation low. Doing the things that keep us healthy and thriving.
Anyway, I just hope you are taking care of yourself. And if you need a little sunshine, you have a whole wide world out there. Just remember 6ft apart.
